August 2013 Traffic

Here are August stats as released by airport authorities. Some remarks:
- UK still Nr 1 with a small decrease though and feeling Russia's breath; next summer we might see a new boss after many years.
- Most of the key markets gave increase or were stable.
- Belgium and Switzerland increases are worth mentioning while Italy and Israel traditionally give above average increases on August.
- France and Finland gave decrease once more.
- Third month of flights from 2 new markets, Spain and Kazakhstan. Vueling flying from Barcelona did even better than June and July (127 to 75 to 107 pass./flights respectivley), while Aegean's charters from Kazakhstan increased significantly giving some 110 passengers/flight compared to 79 and 125/flight of July and June respectively.
- Domestic arrivals dropped but flights also dropped.

Living the DreamLiner @ RHO, Pt II

It's been a while since the Dreamliner's first ever visit to Rhodes and Greece, we already posted some photos from that night (see here), now will proceed with posting some more, even better than the firsts. There will be a final post with some videos we captured.

Keep in mind that the Dreamliner is a regular visitor here, on Saturdays, as TOM4660/1 from London Gatwick. Arrival time varies, from 21:30 to 22.30 local.
